I'm watching the movie Pearl Harbor. It is my first time watching this kind of movie since having Dylan. It's been nearly 69 years since those attacks. My son will never be part of America's old wars. It doesn't make these movies any less poignant now. Those people were somebody's son or daughters. What has America learned since then? Who knows? We seem to think out of sight out of mind too often. History leaves us painful reminders to not ignore it's warnings. It reminds me of another story...
